CrowdFlavor is commiteted to securing and protecting all information that is entered by users. Below is an outline of the information that CrowdFlavor collects as well as how this information is used.
CrowdFlavor is a web and mobile based service that allows users to view and browse for questions and to vote on these questions. Users also have the ability to ask questions of their own that may be voted on by other members of the CrowdFlavor community.
Email addresses are only collected when a user registers to vote on or ask a question. Through registration from a social provider such as Facebook the email address associated with the social account is the one used in CrowdFlavor.
Emails are only sent from CrowdFlavor for transactional information including but not limited to: Welcome email, question approval or rejection, or other information regarding a question that has been submitted with CrowdFlavor.
All users have the ability to unsubscribe from emails from CrowdFlavor at anytime and any emails collected through CrowdFlavor will never be sold or distributed outside of CrowdFlavor services.
The only personal information that is retained in CrowdFlavor is the email address of a user that has registered to vote for or ask a question.
CrowdFlavor may use "cookies" which allow users to have the web service remember their preferences. Users may disable cookies in their browser and CrowdFlavor only implements cookies for remembering user state information.
